In one of my YouTube talks with Jay Krish, I made the comment that "the entire psychological mind IS trauma". Jay was taken aback for a moment with the severity of that statement. So let me expound on it a bit...
The way we see trauma is mostly as a traumatic event or a traumatic experience, be it mental or physical, that has been endured with great difficulty, causing severe and lasting negative effect upon those who have suffered.
The reason why my statement is inclusive of ALL movement of the psychological mind is that I am looking from the standpoint of the Formless Awareness in which life moves. I am not trying to minimize the severity of trauma as we readily define it, but I am just trying to emphasize the extreme difficulty that the entire psychological mind creates for this experiencing.
The identification as the "I thought" or the ME who has ownership of this body and mind is the root of all suffering. This conditioned state of personhood is simply a misperception of mind. We have so much stress, anxiety, depression, worries, addictions, etc... because the entire idea of the individual having a an experience that is separate from the rest of life is a fallacy. Life is a Unitive Universal expression. There is no separateness other than what mind imagines.
So although saying that the entire psychological mind is trauma is somewhat of a shock statement, it is the Reality from the point of view of the Choiceless Awareness that we Truly are. All concepts are delusions upon the pure screen of Consciousness.
Only when we See the entire movement of the psychological mind as the true illusion that it is, will we be freed from these wild traumatic swings of experiencing.
